Good afternoon baby b. You and Clementine are truly enjoying yourselves at the play ground. I love the play ground my self. Well, I heard you had the opportunity to go to the National Cherry Blossom Festival. Those Blossom’s sure are breath taking! It would be neat to have some in your own yard….what do you think. It all began in March 27, 1912 as a gift from Mayor Yukio Ozaki of Tokyo. He gave the Japanese cherry trees from Tokyo to the city of Washington. He donated the trees in an effort to enhance the growing friendship between the United States and Japan and also celebrate the continued close relationship between the two nations. The first festival was held in 1935; a spectacular event!!! Nana is happy to see you had a great time with mommy and daddy at the National Cherry Blossom Event. I love you, nana Debi
